Sookie Sews Event - Argyle and Flowers - 2-Day Serger and Embroidery Event
This 2-Day event is ideal if you've always been curious about sergers and embroidery machines but never had the chance to test drive them. On day one you will use sergers to create a modern version of the classic argyle look and turn it into a notebook cover. Discover how to create the argyle with three simple steps, insert piping with Sookies One-Step method, and finish it off with a pen holder that doubles as the closure. You will work with unique threads, presser feet, and materials to create this sophisticated serger project. Day two you will create a garden full of flowers that appear to be hand stitched yet will be whipped up on an embroidery machine. This scooped bottom crossbody bag is made entirely In-the-Hoop, even the zipper installation is finished with an embroidery machine! There is a lovely touch of cork along the top, cork loops for the D-Rings, and an adjustable strap made with quilt cotton with removable swivel hooks.
